About Cardinal Points

Cardinal Points Surveying Inc. is a professional land surveying and mapping firm located at 4601 Eagleridge Place, Suite 110 in Pueblo, Colorado 81008.  Intercardinal, Inc. was founded in December 2002 and transacts business under the trade name Cardinal Points Surveying, Inc.  All work is performed at the Pueblo office of Cardinal Points Surveying with state of the art hardware and software.

 

Our survey crews are equipped with both Global Positioning Systems and conventional electronic measuring devices. We have performed extensive surveying projects throughout the State of Colorado with the majority of the projects in the Southern Colorado region.

Cardinal Land Surveying staff includes two Professional Land Surveyors; each with over thirty years of experience in all aspects of land surveying including boundary, right of way, route, utilities, drainage, topographic and construction surveying.

 

A partial list of clients that Cardinal Point Surveying, Inc. has provided professional surveying services to over the last decade include San Isabel Electric Association, Pueblo Board of Water Works, The City of Pueblo, Colorado State University Pueblo, St. Charles Mesa Water District, Huerfano County, and Southeast Communications (SECOM).

Randy G. Reeves, P.L.S.

Colorado & New Mexico

Pueblo County Surveyor

Randy G. Reeves, Professional Land Surveyor in Colorado (#22101) and New Mexico (#19305), has more than thirty years experience in the field of land surveying.  Randy graduated from the University of Southern Colorado in 1976 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Technology.  Upon graduation Randy worked for a local engineering and surveying firm until 1982 at which time joined C.F. & I. Steel Company.  As a Field Engineer with C.F. & I. Steel Randy gained valuable experience in industrial construction surveying and quality control.  In 1988 Randy started, and successfully managed the Surveying Department at a local engineering firm, where he served as Project Manager for several Colorado Department of Transportation projects.  In 1992 he joined Mangini & Associates Inc. as Survey Coordinator until 1998 when Randy left to form his own company, Reeves Land Surveying.  From 2003 to 2010 Randy Reeves was co-owner and Vice President of Mangini Reeves, Inc.  In 2010 Randy joined forces with Cardinal Points Surveying. 

 

Randy Reeves was elected Pueblo County Surveyor in January 2011and is currently serving his second term.  Randy has continuously practiced Land Surveying in Southern Colorado and Northern New Mexico for four decades and has been an active member of the Professional Land Surveyors of Colorado since 1983 and served a two year term as president of the Southern Chapter.

Matt A. Cordova, P.L.S. 

Matt Cordova, Colorado Professional Land Surveyor (#33194) has over 30 years of experience in the field of land surveying and construction surveying. His early experience from 1984 to 1988 was establishing National Forest boundaries, surveying, marking and posting lines under a contract with the National Forest Service. From 1988 to 1992 he was employed by Oro Engineering in Southern California and involved in a myriad of surveys involving all phases of land development, both commercial and residential.

 

Matt was previously employed by Mangini & Associates, Inc., for the past 10 years. His diverse experience here included Colorado Department of Transportation TMOSS, bridge construction staking, Right of Way Staking and acquisition. San Isabel Electric power line route surveys, power transmission line structure surveys for Tri-State Generation, along with boundary, topographic, ALTA, commercial and residential subdivision, construction surveys and various projects for the County of Pueblo.

 

Most of the above projects have been performed utilizing Global Positioning System (GPS) hardware and software. His responsibilities as Survey Manager included the training of field and office staff in GPS Fast Static and Real Time Kinematic surveys.

Robin M. Stanton

Office Manager 

Robin Stanton has more than twenty years of experience in the field of land surveying.  Robin graduated from Trinidad State Junior College in 1988 with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Drafting and Design Technology.  Upon graduation Robin worked for Southwestern Hollow Metal for five years were she designed and detailed Hollow Metal Doors, Door Frames and Window Units utilizing AutoCAD.  For the next sixteen years from 1994 to 2010 Robin was employed by Mangini & Associates, Inc. were she gained valuable experience in civil drafting, preparing legal description, title research, city and county subdivision process and office management.  In September 2010 Robin joined the team of Cardinal Points Surveying.
